Nora is a British-Syrian writer covering culture, history and nature, with a focus on the UK as well as the Mediterannean and Arab regions. Nora has over 10 years experience as a journalist and is available for a range of assignments, from feature and copywriting to copyediting and consultancy. Nora's expertise has been acquired through staff roles with industry-leading and award-winning publications including National Geographic Traveller, BBC Gardeners' World Magazine, Wanderlust Travel Magazine and other publications.
Nora completed an MSc in Conservation and Biodiversity at the University of Exeter in 2023 and now works as a government adviser in biodiversity conservation.
